ActivityAttended Roan School. Joined Natural History Museum Staff: In 1949, the Museum first employed Keith Hyatt as a Temporary Assistant in the Zoology Department, he briefly left for two years in 1951 to complete National Service with the RAF, Bomb Disposal Branch. He later returned as Scientific Officer in the Arachnida and Myriapoda Section, becoming a senior member of the Section in 1973 and retiring early in 1989. Keith was a Fellow of the Linnaean Society of London and a Past President of the London Natural History Society, for whom he was editor of its journal, the London Naturalist. Keith passed away 23 February 2021.
