| Activity | Museum Staff: Entered Museum 28 Jan 1924, listed under ‘labourers and window cleaners’. In 1936 Mabbott is listed with two others as ‘leading housemen’. On 1 June 1949 William Henry Mabbott is appointed as a senior assistant within Zoology, and is still listed as this in 1957. Assistant to F C Sawyer in the Zoology Library, 1937-1957. Was part of the Natural History Museum Sports and Social Association and was part of the Museum football team.
