| Activity | Museum Staff: Walters joined the Bird Section staff at South Kensington in September 1970 and transferred to Tring in 1972, slightly later than other members of staff. He worked as a curator, mainly on the egg collections as a Scientific Officer. He retired in May 2003 but continued for a while as Emeritus Fellow of the Bird Group working on type specimens, and later as a Scientific Associate. |
