Title	Zoology Library Catalogues and Related Material
Description	This series consists of manuscript and printed Zoology Library catalogues and other lists of monographs and serials. Some are annotated with corrections, additions and library locations. The early manuscript catalogues are undated, although they probably date from between 1842 (when the earliest surviving Accessions Register begins) and 1880 (when the first printed catalogue was published). The first General Library catalogue of the whole Natural History Museum was published between 1903-1915, so there was no need for a separate Zoology catalogue thereafter.

There is a Guide to the Zoology Library, written by the fourth Zoology Librarian G Bridson, under DF206. The Zoology Library itself contains 2 copies of the 1880 and 2 copies of the 1884 printed catalogues, one of each of which is annotated.
