| Description | This series consists of both the monthly and annual reports of work carried out in the department which were submitted via the Director to the Trustees. DF209/1-4 contain flimsy copies of monthly reports for 1900-1927 (incomplete), together with the manuscript drafts from the Invertebrate Section for 1895-1900, gathered into files by S F Harmer. DF209/5-64 contain a copy of the Keeper's annual reports for 1910-1973, together with many of the sectional contributions from which the final report was compiled. These include much detailed material that was not included in the final report. DF209/65-70 consist of the monthly work and absence records for 1878-1882 and 1900-1905, completed by the assistants and submitted to the Keeper. |
