| Description | This series comprises all the departmental staff records, including vacation, attendance and absence books, the Keeper's staff files, and diaries. The staff files contain administrative details of such matters as attendance, absence, re-grading and promotion and also, in some cases, reports of scientific work carried out. All staff were required to keep detailed daily diaries, which were signed each month by their senior officers. DF208/25-41 and DF208/83-87 were selected as a sample. |
