TitleRegisters and Indexes of Zoology Departmental Correspondence
DescriptionThe registers to correspondence provide a daily record of letters coming into the department, with an indication of who dealt with them. The 1909-1921 registers (DF204/1-12) do not seem to include the Keeper's correspondence in DF200/53-72, and neither does the 1933-1936 register (DF204/22) include Keeper's letters for that period. The 1921-1932 registers (DF204/16/21) give a file reference to items in DF200/73-95. The four indexes (DF204/13-15 & 23) are incomplete and cannot at present be interpreted.
