| Description | The exhibition commened June to September 1997, devised in conjunction with European partners, with the aim to virtually recreate the voyage of the Endeavour (1768-1771). The project was also referred to as SICMA (Scaleable Interactive Continuous Media and Application), and allowed visitors to move freely aboard the Endeavour and interact with botanical, zoological, charts, ship-log, and drawing exhibit material from the Museum. A scaled down version of the exhibit was also held at the Gallo-Romeins Museum, Tongeren, Belgium |
