Related MaterialPapers of Charles Konig are held in both Mineralogy and Palaeontology manuscript collections (Earth Sciences Library). Some notes on fossil reptiles by George Waterhouse are also held in the Palaeontology Manuscripts, where there is also a large collection of the papers of Arthur Smith Woodward.

AdminHistoryDuring this period staff numbers were small, and responsibilities were broad. Although a number of the staff had well-developed specialities, the department was not subdivided into sections. Henry Woodward, for example, although a specialist on fossil arthropods, published on many vertebrate and invertebrate groups.
