Description1 letter from R Suggitt, Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, to Dr Arthur Smith Woodward, British Museum, describing some bones found in a Brick Pit near his home and asking as to what animal they belonged, with an attached note from Dr Francis Arthur Bather, British Museum, to Sidney Frederick Harmer, British Museum, proposing that they may be whale bones, and an attached reply from Harmer to Bather suggesting that perhaps they are not bones at all but hardened pieces of wood.
