| Description | This series of records documents a three-year residence programme at the Natural History Museum as part of the Art & Illustration exhibition programme at the Natural History Museum. The programme provided selected artists both research and practice spaces; the focus being on the Museum's Special Collections from China, Australia, and India. Emerging artists were invited to create a new body of work based on their research using these collections, and for the resulting commission to be displayed in the newly opened Images of Nature Gallery.
The Residency programme was run in partnership with Gasworks, London and aimed to promote the diversity of cultures and practices within the arts and sciences; bringing fresh and critical perspectives Museum collections.
Artists selected were: Hu Yun from China; Daniel Boyd from Sydney and Sunoj D from India
