| Description | The Primates exhibition was a permanent exhibition which opened in July 1993 and is located on the first floor of the Waterhouse Building along the West Balcony. The design of the exhibition was created by architects Pawson Williams and was divided into six sections, with specially commissioned artistic pieces by David Begbie, Graham High, Barry Sutton and Ralph Steadman. The Exhibition was taken down in 2012 as part of the revelopment of the Central Hall.
This series contains the correspondence and papers of the Museum's Press Officer which deals with events and activities leading up to the opening of the Gallery. |
