Description | This series contains the Museum's published reports of progress to the Government, arranged chronologically.
Originally the reports took the form of a printed Parliamentary Paper each year headed 'Accounts, Estimate, and Number of Persons Admitted'.
No reports were published for the years 1939-1962, and as of 1963 they were published every three years as the Triennial Report on the British Museum (Natural History). After 1996 Annual Reports were published instead, and then in 2003 they were replaced by Annual Reviews.
In conjunction with the Reports and Reviews, the Museum has produced Corporate Plans since 1986 as a framework for the review and clarification of policies, and to set out the corporate direction of the Museum (see DF941). |
