Description | The first Triennial Report was produced in 1963 in accordance with Section 7 of the British Museum Act 1963. The last general report previous to this was published in 1938 as part of the 'Annual Report of the General Progress of the Museums'.
The Triennial Reports were the official reports to Government on work and progress over the previous three years under various headings including: Functions of the Museum, Staff, Finance, Collections and Research, The Zoological Museum, Tring, Exhibition Galleries, and New Buildings.
After 1996 the Museum published reports annually (DF940/3). |
