| Description | This series contains records relating to the New Spirit Building. It was gradually contstructed between 1921 and 1938 in the following phases 1921-1922, 1928-1930, 1934-1935. It was demolished in 2002 and replaced by the Darwin Centre in 2006. Both Spirit buildings have been called 'New' and 'Old' Spirit Building, depending on which point in time the Museum or its staff was referring to them. |
