AdminHistoryThe filing system was set up in 1921 when the Reports and Letters series (DF1000) was closed, and was administered by the Museum Secretary's staff within the Director's Office. Some earlier papers were incorporated when the first files were opened. Arrangement of the files was alphabetical by file title, and the series was active until 1972 when a new registry was set up, combining the Establishment Officer's Files with the Case and Policy series (DF1004).
