DescriptionSketches of cottage, stone cross and window on 1 piece of paper. Top left hand corner shows pencil sketch of leaded window with rounded arch above and shutter to the right. The top right hand corner shows a stone cross on a plith. The bottom sketch shows a cottage with thantched roof, 2 chimneys and 3 windows. Underneath the bottom sketch is written "Sims". This probably refers to where Alfred R Wallace lodged in Neath in 1846. He lodged with Mr Sims in the main street of Neath. Mr Sims was the father of Thomas Sims who married Wallace's sister.
