| Description | This collection contains the professional correspondence, manuscripts and drawings, related to chalcidoid wasps (Insecta, Hymenoptera, Chalcidoidea), of respected Hymenoptera taxonomist Dr Zdenek Boucek. The majority was formed during his employment at the Commonwealth Institute of Entomology, based at the BM(NH) during the 1970s and 1980s, with additional letters from a previous short period of employment at the Hope Department of Entomology, Oxford University Museum, Oxford University, and from his ongoing work in the 1990s following his official retirement in 1989.
The correspondence collection has been organised into alphabetical order by correspondent. The letters of each correspondent have then been ordered chronologically, with details of dates, location of correspondent and extent recorded in the list. The manuscripts and drawings are ordered as received.
