TitleGodman Trust Expedition Fund
DescriptionCorrespondence and papers between the Godman Trust and the Keeper of Entomology regarding the Godman Exploration Fund. The Godman Exploration Fund was a fund set up by Dame Alice Godman in memory of her husband Frederick Godman FRS, a Trustee of the NHM under a deed dated 26 May 1920. The deed proves funding to be used for obtaining by exploration specimens for the NHM. Grants are made to support expeditions collecting specimens for the museum and which have to be endorsed by a Keeper. Files also include correspondence between the NHM and external instituions applying for funding from the Godman Trust
