Alexey Kharitonov's Image

Alexey Kharitonov (Israel/Russia) finds art in unexpected perspectives across Russia’s northern swamps.

Alexey launched his drone from a narrow strip of land between a mosaic of small lakes.

He framed his picture around a dry, grassy mound encircled by ice, reflected pine silhouettes, and the autumn glow of sphagnum moss.
