Alexey Kharitonov (Israel/Russia) finds art in unexpected perspectives across Russia’s northern swamps.
Alexey was on a 180-kilometre (112-mile) motorboat trip through uninhabited territory along the Taymylyr River.
During the trip, he took what may be the first drone photographs of this remote landscape.
Waterways edged with bright green grass gave way to golden shrubs and a landscape sprinkled with the crimson blaze of alpine bearberry and bog blueberry.
