Jasper Doest's Image

A young girl poses for a photo with some of the resident macaques at a Japanese tavern.

Monkeys can legally be used for entertainment but Japanese animal rights regulations restrict their working hours to two a day. With the growing popularity of the entertainment at his tavern – thanks to footage shared on social media – the owner plans to train more monkeys to entice more customers through the doors.
