Wim came across these king penguins on a beach in the Falkland Islands just as the sun was rising.
They were caught up in a fascinating mating behaviour – the two males were constantly moving around the female using their flippers to fend the other off.

He’s a firm believer in putting in the effort, no matter the challenges, and this mindset has been instrumental in shaping his work. Each photograph he captures is a tribute to the beauty and rawness of nature, and his aim is to inspire others to appreciate and protect it.
