The free prize draw is now closed for entries. The winner was Laura Willis.
Following its spectacular redevelopment, Hintze Hall will reopen to the public on 14 July 2017.
Be one of the first to walk underneath the blue whale skeleton and help the Museum celebrate one of the most important events in its recent history.
The winner and up to five guests will be some of the first in the world to see Hintze Hall on 14 July, before it opens to the public.
Go on a private tour of the hall at 8.00, before it opens to the public two hours later. See the new displays up close, and experience the blue whale skeleton diving over your head, free from the Museum's usual bustle.
After the tour, take part in an opening ceremony before the Museum opens to all at 10.00.
Included in the prize is a two-night stay on 13 and 14 July at a London hotel, for you and up to five guests, and travel costs for everyone in the group, up to a value of £175 each.
The first 200 runners-up will be invited to attend the opening ceremony with one guest. They will gain early access to Hintze Hall before we open to the general public at 10.00.
Closing date for entries was Wednesday 31 May 2017 at 16.00 BST. The winner will be contacted by telephone.
