Tickets
All visitors (including Members and Corporate Supporters) must book a free ticket in advance online for guaranteed entry. Government guidance around indoor visits (the rule of six) applies at the Museum.
To help keep everyone safe, a timed entry system is in place. Only a limited number of people are allowed in our galleries. We have a limited number of walk-up tickets, subject to availability.
Please only book if you're able to attend, or let us know if you can no longer make it, so that we can make the tickets available to other visitors.
Tickets are available for visits until 5 September.

Members enjoy free entry to all exhibitions, priority access and exclusive events.
Members will be able to book for our exhibitions a day earlier, on Wednesday 14 April. Support the Museum and join today.

Welcome packs
Get your hands on a Welcome pack filled with everything you need to make the most out of your time at the Museum.
Welcome packs and additional items can be bought online when you book your ticket and collected from the Hintze Hall information desk on arrival at the Museum.
Additional face coverings can be purchased online or in our on-site shops for £4. All our face coverings are made in the UK.

Safety information
The safety of our visitors and staff is our priority. Here's what we're doing to help keep everyone safe, and what you can do to help.
Face coverings
Face coverings must be worn inside the Museum. Read our list of exemptions.
Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue. If no tissue is available, use your elbow.
Social distancing
Please follow the signposted one-way routes and respect social distancing throughout the Museum.
Hand sanitiser stations
Hand sanitiser is available throughout the Museum.
Cleaning
Our facilities will be cleaned throughout the day by staff.
Contactless payments
Pay with contactless if possible, although cash will still be accepted.
Feeling unwell?
Please do not visit the Museum if you're feeling unwell or have a temperature, consistent cough or loss of taste.
- Government guidance around indoor visits (the rule of six) applies at the Museum.
- Protective screens are in place at key touchpoints such as cafes, shops and information desks. Face coverings are provided to staff.
- Some digital touch screens and hands-on exhibits will be switched off or closed, others will remain available with hand sanitiser nearby.
- For information about cloakrooms, toilets and lifts, visit Access at South Kensington.
- In line with updated government advice, all visitors over the age of 16 will be asked to scan the NHS QR code on arrival at the Museum. Please ensure you download the NHS COVID-19 app before arriving at the Museum.
- We may need to share your information with the NHS Test and Trace service if someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 lists the Museum as a place they recently visited. Read our privacy notice to find out how your information is shared and stored. If you do not want your contact details passed on to the NHS Test and Trace service, you can opt out by contacting us. Please note that your contact details will still be collected when you book your ticket so that we can provide important safety information about your visit.

The Natural History Museum at Tring, Hertfordshire

The Museum is closed but our work continues
