Barry Du Bois

As a carpenter, Barry worked for the Museum's Science and Exhibitions Departments, creating new displays to showcase the wonders of natural history. His work was diverse, and from installing galleries, designing special cases for bones, to preparing specimens for display, no day was the same for Barry.

Barry began work at the Museum as a Joiner in 1977, working on the constructions of exhibitions and repairing furniture. Over the course of his career, he worked on the Quartz Display and Ludlam Collection, the redevelopment of the Earth Galleries and the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. He retired from the Museum in 2005.
