Diagnosis

Cassiduloida with:

  • petals weakly to strongly developed; ending gradational;
  • phyllodes developed usually with inner and outer series;
  • Periproct supramarginal to inframarginal.
Range
Early Cretaceous (Valanginian) to Palaeocene, Europe, North Africa.
Remarks Distinguished from all other cassiduloids by having an olique peristome.
