Diagnostic Features
Distribution Glen Rose Formation, Lower Albian, Lower Cretaceous, Texas, USA.
Remarks Juvenile specimens. Differs from similar sized individuals of  Goniopygus whitneyi in having a disc with obvious sutural pits, the disc is proportionally larger and it has a much smaller and distinctly quadrilobate outline.  Finally there are no obvious perianal tubercles developed.
