At present I am a Metadata Librarian (part time) at the Natural History Museum. I worked at the Museum as Head of Cataloguing from 2000-2013, when I retired. However I have returned to the Museum for various short term contracts specializing in cataloguing over the last 4 years. Prior to 2000 I was employed at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew as Head Cataloguer. I was a member of Cilip's Cataloguing & Indexing Committee from 2005-2012 and given presentations at the Cilip's Cataloguing and Indexing Conference in Exeter 2010 and Cilip's Umbrella conference in 2011. I have also spoken to the ISKO conference in 2010.
I have been a Fellow of the Linnean Society since 2005 and was a member of their Collection Committee 2005-2012. I have given a number of presentations about the Linnaeus Link Project from 2006-2008 and was heavily involved with the Linnaeus Tercentenary celebrations during 2007, including a presentation at the Linnean Society and the EBHL conference in Madrid.
