Summary

I am a herpetologist from India and my primary work has focused on geckos endemic to the Indian Ocean islands. My work has been looking into untangling evolutionary origins, both in space and time; identifying macroevolutionary patterns in species diversification and morphological evolution; the ecology behind the co-existence of congeneric species, and in assessing genetic diversity in light of limited dispersal abilities and barriers to dispersal. In my current project, I am trying to identify links between the evolution of genomes and morphology in squamates.
