Provenance: "Habitat in Europae siccissimis."
Type: Lectotype : "Telephium album" in Fuchs, Hist. Stirp., 799, 800, 1542
Designated by: Webb in Feddes Repert. 64 : 19 (1961)
Current Name: Hylotelephium telephium (L.) H. Ohba
Current Family: Crassulaceae
Comments: Fröderström (in Acta Horti Gothob. 5, App.: 55-56. 1930) discussed the varied application of the autonym, himself favouring the white-flowered Scandinavian form as the typical variety. This was formalised by Webb's type choice but other authors have sometimes treated this form as taxonomically distinct from H. telephium sensu stricto.
