Arevschatian indicated "628.1" LINN as type (the IDC fiche on which sheet no. 1045.1 appears is fiche no. 628). There is only one collection associated with this name and, despite not using Savage's numbering system, the author's intention is clear and the type choice accepted here. Jeffrey (in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 44. 1993) designated Herb. Burser XXI: 35 (UPS) as lectotype but this is pre-dated by Arevschatian's choice. |
