Diagnostic Features
  • Test ovate, presence of anterior sulcus at ambitus unknown
  • Apical disc unknown
  • Ambulacrum III slightly depressed adapically with simple pores
  • Petals well developed, lyre-shaped with the inner columns of pore-pairs rudimentary in the two posterior petals 
  • Lower surface flat with broad median naked zone; no tubercles on at least the anterior part of the sternal plates.
  • Mouth at some considerable distance from the anterior
  • Fascioles unknown.

Name gender feminine
Type Verbeekia dubia Fritsch, 1877, p. 90 by monotypy.
Species Included Only the type species.
Classification and/or Status Irregularia, Spatangoida, Micrasterina, Loveniidae?

Monotypic.  Too poorly known to place with certainty but probably a Loveniidae
