Diagnostic Features Like Hemipedina, with tall interambulacral plates, granules rare; tubercles always developed above the ambitus, secondary tubercles present below the ambitus. (from Lambert & Thiery, p. 199).

Type Hemipedina guerangeri Cotteau, 1858, p. 113, by original designation.

Figured syntype: University of Lyon Palaeontological Collections - (Cotteau collection, specimen donated by M. Triger) EM 12136 (figured Cotteau, 1883 Paleontologie francaise pl. 397, figs 4-14).
Species Included Lambert & Thiery (1913, p. 199) included two other species, from the Oxfordian.
Classification and/or Status Pedinoida, Pedinidae

A subjective junior synonym of Hemipedina.
