  • Test ovoid to subglobular.
  • Apical disc central; plating unknown.
  • Ambulacra straight and narrow; pore-pairs uniserial aborally and possibly throughout. Plating unknown.
  • Interambulacra wide.
  • Peristome central, a little sunken; subcircular.
  • Periproct larger than peristome; marginal in position; longitudinal.

Lower Cretaceous (Hauterivian), Switzerland.

?Subjective junior synonym of Globator Agassiz, in Desor, 1842

Remarks

Genus based on an internal mould of a deformed individual. The supposed plating reported by Jeannet is highly anomolous and appears to be simply an artefact of preservation. Consequently there are no grounds for separating this from Globator.
