Fletcher (1979) stated:-

A junior homonym and a junior objective synonym of Drymoptila Guest, 1887 - Lepid. Geometridae. Both the generic and specific names were made nomenclaturally available by Guest prior to their proposal and description by Meyrick. It is evident from the data that D. temenitis Guest and D. temenitis Meyrick refer to the same specimen in the Guest collection. D. temenitis Meyrick is therefore a junior objective synonym.

See: DRYMOPTILA Guest, 1887.

Parsons et al. (1999) included DRYMOPTILA Meyrick, 1892 as a junior synonym of DRYMOPTILA Guest, 1887
