Fletcher (1979) and Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:-

Debos was established in the Zygaenidae; it was transferred to the Monoctenidae, now Geometridae, Oenochrominae, by Swinhoe, 1906, Ann. Mag. nat. Hist. (7) 17: 553.

Parsons et al. (1999) included 3 species in the genus DEBOS.
