Incorrect type-species: Caberodes achromaria Guenée, 1857, a species doubtfully included in Caberodes and, according to Article 67(h) of the Code, not therefore eligible for selection as type-species; incorrectly designated by Warren, 1894, Novit. zool. 1: 457 and by Hampson, 1895, Fauna Br. India (Moths) 3: 158.
