Poole (1989) included BORSIPPA Walker, 1858; LACIBISA Walker, 1863; EUDRAGANA Butler, 1880; ARAMURA Moore, 1884; SILLOPHORA Warren, 1912; and TRICHOPTYA Warren, 1912 as junior synonyms of BOCULA Guenée, 1852.

Poole (1989) included 35 species in the genus BOCULA.
