Notes:
Fletcher (1979) stated:-

From a multiple original spelling in which both Bichroma and * Dichroma were used, I have followed the spelling adopted by Prout, 1915, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 4: 398. The Esper dates are taken from the Heft wrappers, not from the title-page of volume 4 of Die Schmett., which is dated 1786.

Parsons et al. (1999) included BICHROMA Gumppenberg, 1887; ENCONISTA Lederer, 1853; and HISTURGIA Agassiz, 1847 as junior synonyms of ISTURGIA Hübner, 1823.
