Notes:
Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:-

A junior homonym of Asteria d'Orbigny, [1850] 1849, Prodrome Paléontologie 1: 240, - Echinoderma. There is no objective replacement name, but A. nivosa is congeneric with Latoia albifrons Guérin-Méneville, [1844], the type-species of Latoia Guérin-Méneville, [1844]; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
