Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:-

A. atricornis (as a nomen nudum) was mentioned by Wallengren, 1862, ibidem 10: 199, but was first made available by Wallengren, 1853, ibiden 7: 139. It was redescribed, as new, by Wallengren, 1965, K. svemska VetenskAcad. Handl. 5 (4): 13.

Asinusca was redescribed, as new, by Wallengren, 1865, ibidem 5 (4): 13.
