Poole (1989) included SUPERSYPNOIDES Berio, 1958; EQUATOSYPNA Berio, 1960; and PYSNOIDES (as PSYNOIDES) Berio, 1960 as junior synonyms of SYPNOIDES Hampson, 1913.
