Nye (1975) stated:-

N. evidens Hübner, is a junior primary homonym of Noctua evidens Thunberg, 1784, Diss. Ent. sistens Insecta Suecica (1): 2, pl. [1], fig. [2], which is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena trigrammica Hufnagel, 1766, - Noctuidae, Acronictinae. There is no synonym to use as a replacement name so I here propose Sideridis anapheles nom. n. [Nye, 1975] for N. evidens Hübner.

Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:-

Poole (1989) included 21 species in the genus SIDERIDIS.
