[(a primary homonym, replaced by Sideridis anapheles Nye, 1975, Generic Names Moths World 1: 450)]
Nye (1975) stated:-
N. evidens Hübner, is a junior primary homonym of Noctua evidens Thunberg, 1784, Diss. Ent. sistens Insecta Suecica (1): 2, pl. , fig. , which is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena trigrammica Hufnagel, 1766, - Noctuidae, Acronictinae. There is no synonym to use as a replacement name so I here propose Sideridis anapheles nom. n. [Nye, 1975] for N. evidens Hübner.
