Notes:
Nye (1975) stated:-

S. arctica is a junior subjective synonym of Amphidasis unifasciata Ménétriés, 1851, in Middendorff, Reise aussersten Norden und Osten Sibiriens 2 (1): 58, pl. 3, fig. 12. Schoyenia was proposed as * Schöyenia, an incorrect original spelling. This name is formed from the modern personal name Schöyen which is Scandinavian and not German. The 'o' must therefore be changed under the Code, Article 32 (c) (i) to 'o' and not 'oe.'.

Poole (1989) included AMATHES Hübner, 1821; MEGASEMA Hübner, 1821; LYTAEA Stephens, 1829; SEGETIA Stephens, 1829; HIPTELIA Guenée, 1852; PACHNOBIA Guenée, 1852; ANOMOGYNA Staudinger, 1871; PTEROSCIA Morrison, 1875; AGROTIPHILA Grote, 1876; SCHOYENIA Aurivillius, 1883; PLATAGROTIS Smith, 1890; LENA Herz, 1903; HYPOXESTIA Hampson, 1904; BARROVIA Barnes & McDunnough, 1916; AGROTIMORPHA Barnes & McDunnough, 1929; ARCHANARTA Barnes & McDunnough, 1929; EPIPSILIAMORPHA Barnes & McDunnough, 1929; and KNAPPIA Nye, 1975 as junior synonyms of XESTIA Hübner, 1818.

SCHOYENIA Aurivillius, 1883, was treated as a valid genus, revalidated by Beck, 1996, Neue Entomologische Nachrichten 36 : 9.
