Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:-

An incorrect (of a multiple) original spelling of Rhapsodica Meyrick, 1927. Rhapsodica was the spelling used as the generic heading and in the index. * Rhapsidoca was used in the heading of the original combination of R. antitona and to the best of our knowledge has not been used since.
