Pitane Walker, 1854: 531, was incorrectly included in the "Glyphipterygidae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 178; based on his invalid designation of type-species: Pitane dilecta Walker, 1854, ibidem 2: 532.
