Phanaspa Walker, [1866] 1865 [p.1192 not 1211] was treated as a valid genus and brought out of synonymy by Lodl, 1995, Zeitschrift der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Oesterreichischer Entomologen 47 (3-4) : 97.
