Nye (1975) stated:-

A junior homonym of Pasira Stål, 1859, öfvers. K. Vetensk.-Acad. Förh. Stockh. 16: 190, - Hemiptera. There is no objective replacement name but P. oshracea is congeneric with Phalaena sericealis Scopoli, the type-species of Rivula Guenée, [1845]. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name.

See: RIVULA Guenée, [1845] 1844.
